Pupil 1:

On the death of Edward the Confessor in 1066, I claimed the English throne. I led the invasion and defeated the English at the battle of Hastings. I crushed Saxon resistance and gave most of the land to my Norman followers. My reign marked the complete establishment of feudalism in England. Everybody knows me as a Conqueror.

I'm the  youngest son of Henry the Second. I came to the throne in 1199. I have lost almost all English possessions in France. So my nickname is Lackland. In England after the revolt of the barons I had to sign Magna Carta in 1215.

I'm a daughter of Henry the 8th and Ann Boleyn. I confronted Catholic church, I defeated Spanish fleet, I encouraged arts. I never married. I can say that I have a body of a feeble woman but a heart and stomach of a Lion.

I acceded to the throne in 1837 on the death of my uncle William lV.

I married Prince Albert and had 4 sons and 5 daughters. My husband died and I left London. I was very sad. During my reign Britain 's colonial expansions reached its zenith.

I'm a daughter of George Vl. I ascended to the throne in 1952. I married Prince Phillip and we have 4 children: Prince Charles, Princess Ann, Prince Andrew and Prince Edward.
